CSL Lighting T-125 Magnetic 300W 24-Volt Toroidal Transformer has a maximum of a 60-Feet run from the first socket. Magnetic transformers are typically larger and weigh more than an electronic transformer, but magnetic transformers are better for longer runs than electronic transformers. All of CSL Lightings magnetic transformers may be loaded up to 100-percent when mounted horizontally, and has four multi-taps (24, 26, 28, and 30). It has an auto reset in-line primary overload protection and an in-line secondary magnetic breaker to protect against short-circuit. Maximum watts per feed for a 24-Volt transformer is 600W. When the first lamp in the run is brighter than the lat lamp in the run, this difference is known as voltage drop. Voltage drop can be minimized by selecting the correct wire gauge between the remote transformer and the start of the run. To reduce voltage drop: Use a multi-tap transformer, use the correct gauge wire from transformer to the start of the run, and place the power feed in the center of the run.
